DOMINATING THE STAGE - Rhythms -Past, Present & Future
A perfect workshop for all dancers (beginners to advance) and musicians. Understanding melodies and rhythms so that you can master your performance on stage. For musicians, it's a perfect workshop to understand how to play and communicate with the dancer. Master Mario Kirlis is one of the most famous Arabic musicians in the world. Learn from the best of the best, the master of masters.
1. Understanding your music
2. Know your rhythms!
3. Tips on how to make the musician work with you and not against you (and vise versa).
4. The hidden language between the musician and the dancer.
5. Baladi, Taxim and everything in between.
6. Students will participate in demonstrations and tasks to better understand musical structure.

* (Q & A) Everything you wanted to know about Arabic Music
This workshop will contain a theoretical and practical presentation of the most important musical compositions of Master Mario Kirlis. An extraordinary experience, for those interested in the musical side and performance side. For those who want to improve and to interpret Arabic music at another level.
Each musical theme will be analyzed from the point of view of rhythm and melodic structure, later being exemplified by the live orchestra.
We will enjoy the most unique moments, when we have the opportunity to listen to musical masterpieces – so loved and used by dancers worldwide-interpreted by the Grand Master!
Please note that both of these workshops are for those interested in studying the music and those studying the dance.
