Fusion Gitana is proud to present World-renowned Arabic Master Composer and Musician Mario Kirlis! He will be teaching an extensive workshop on classical and modern Arabic music.
To become a great dancer you must understand the styles and rhythms of the music. There is no need to have experience. This workshop is designed for dancers and musicians of all levels.
This workshop will provide an expressive outlet to those who enjoy Arabic music. During this interactive event, students will gain insight into the history of Arabic music (both past and present).
Want to build up knowledge of Arabic instruments, rhythms and styles? Then this is a workshop you DON’T want to miss. Be prepared to step out of your comfort zone as you will be dancing to all sorts of rhythms designed to familiarize you with the different styles of Arabic music. You’ll also learn how Arabic music has influenced other genres of music and how it has fused with other styles to create Arabic Fusions (Flamenco, Samba etc.).
Bring a notebook, comfortable clothes and be prepared for a one of a kind workshop. This is a rare and unique opportunity to study with one of the most famous Arabic musicians in the world.

About the Artist:
Maestro Mario Kirlis, is one of the leading figures of Arabic music in the world.
He has dedicated more than 40 years to Arabic Music as a musician, composer, arranger and producer. He is from Argentina and has traveled all over the world dictating seminars and accompanying the best dancers and singers.
